Drag Race Season 15 Delivers Out of this World Looks

RuPaul rolled out the premiere of season 15 and the stars stepped out! This cast did not come to play. Everybody stood out and showed who they were through their talent performances, and of course, through their show stopping looks!

Luxx Noir London had my favorite runway look of the night! I gasped and screamed at my T.V. when she came out. This look includes all of my favorite things- pastels, puff sleeves, a cape, THE HAT! The color combo and patterns are so dreamy and romantic. I also think the look is smart as Victorian and coquette fashion have been trending. It is modern and classic with her own spin. Luxx definitely made a statement and I cannot wait to see what she brings to the stage next!

My other favorite looks of the night include:

Malaysia Babydoll Foxx

I was in absolute awe when she stepped out and knew immediately that Malaysia is one to watch. This is purely stunning and regal, a true look for a queen. The fox tail detail is also so adorable and great branding!

If you couldn’t tell by now, I love pastels and sparkles. The skirt moved so beautifully on the runway-I almost got nervous when she tore it away, but it gave the look a whole new life! I felt like I was watching a Disney movie about a moon goddess and I lived for every second!

Mistress Isabelle Brooks

I screamed because ’90S MUGLER REFERENCE!! This look gives everything- glam, high fashion, and camp! Isabelle continues to prove she’s an icon and I now need to book a flight to Houston for a drag show!

Sasha Colby

To casually say that she just pulled this out of her closet is iconic, but the fact that she wore it during her Miss Continental pageant is even more insane! My favorite part is how beautiful the liquid organza fabric moves under the stage lights. This is such an intricate and stunning look, but I believe she could wear anything and pull it off with her stage presence. Sasha didn’t lie when she introduced herself as “your favorite drag queen’s favorite drag queen,” and now everyone gets to see why!

Jax

The ’90s nostalgia! How could you not instantly feel joy when Jax stepped out in this look?! She called herself the Simone Biles of drag in the werkroom, so I love how she used this runway to continue to show her sporty, but chic aesthetic. I also need this jacket and bedazzled camera ASAP!

Sugar and Spice

RuPaul’s Drag Race, MTV

It was hard not to be skeptical of how Sugar and Spice were going to do based on the edit they were given at first, but they definitely exceeded expectations in both the challenge and runway! Their takes on Belle and Ariel were so stunning and fun to watch. My heart swelled when I heard Sugar say in her confessional that she uses drag to connect with her childhood- I think that’s something all of us who love fashion can relate to.

My high hopes for this season have definitely been fulfilled and it’s only the first episode! I’m so excited to see what’s in store. What did you think of the premiere? Who had your favorite looks?!
